【Get behind】
“Get behind” has the following meanings.
1. To be late or to fall behind
Failing to keep up with work,payments,or a schedule.
Example:”I got behind on my homework.”
I didn’t finish my homework on time.
2. To move behind something or someone
To physically position yourself at the back of a person or object.
Example:“Get behind me!”
Move to a position behind that person.
It’s often said to protect someone,like in a dangerous or intense situation.
So far,we’ve looked at the basic meanings,but “get behind ”also has a more surprising,casual usage.

3. To support something or someone
To agree with or support an idea,plan,or person.
